Advantages
Guaranteed Paid Internships for all Students
The Problem:
Recruiters prefer to hire graduates with industry experience over freshers with no experience.
Our Solution:
Job Skills Institute offers guaranteed paid internships in IT/ Marketing/ Content Writing roles for all our students. All students will be paid a stipend. They will get payslips, offer letter, experience certificates and Provident Fund (PF) accounts setup.
Continuous Learning
The Problem:
Roughly 40% of all college students have a backlog in at least one subject. Any
backlog hurts a students academic grades and also reduces their recruitment opportunities.
Our Solution:
Students fail in semester exams because they copy study notes and try to read the entire syllabus the night before the exams. We break down the syllabus into small units and a mock exam is conducted for 1 or 2 chapters every 2 weeks. Students must also submit a small assignment every 2 weeks. This process of “Continuous Learning” ensures that students cover the entire syllabus in advance.
Industry Certifications
The Problem:
Just Academics is not sufficient to help our students stand out among thousands of applicants for each fresher job. Recruiters look for candidates with Certifications that are relevant to their Industry/job profile.
Our Solution:
Job Skills Institute offers students a choice of 6 Certifications (one per
semester). These Certifications can be in Software, Business, Content creation etc. The full list of Certifications for students to choose from is shared in our brochure.
Employability Skills
The Problem:
Only 10% of graduating students have the necessary technical skills needed for employment.
Our Solution:
Grammar, Aptitude and Programming contests will be conducted on a weekly basis. Answers to these contests will be discussed in class and weekly winners will get Certificates. This weekly cadence will ensure that our students get sufficient exposure to do well in Recruitment tests.
Soft Skills
The Problem:
College Graduates in India lack the necessary soft skills needed to socialize while speaking English in a professional environment. Confident Spoken English is needed for effective communication and team building.
Our Solution:
All students will participate in extracurricular clubs focused on team-building and soft skills training. Winning teams will get prizes and certificates.
Our Extracurricular Clubs include Toast Masters, Book Club, Debate Club, Paper Presentation and Student Journals.
